A summary of the center’s activities from 2002 to 2011

1- The project of social and institutional innovations for the local management of water resources in the Mediterranean in partnership with the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation and led by Agropolis with five other countries in the north and south of the Mediterranean for a period of thirty months until October 2007, funded by the European Union.

• Holding an expert seminar on the subject of “The Population Problem and Development Issues in the Rural” from 16-17/4/2003, attended by many experts from the ministries of health, population, agriculture, social affairs, the Demographic Center and National Planning, the National Center for Social and Criminal Research and the relevant international bodies in Egypt The topic of the episode.

3- The travel of 11 students, in addition to one of the members of the supporting body, to Greece.

4- Holding the final national conference for the project of social and institutional innovations for irrigation management in the Mediterranean countries, ISIIMM – Egypt

Conducting the first training course (Introduction to Statistical Analysis and the Use of SPSS Program) in the Telecommunication Lab (2) (December 2007) for those involved in rural development from the Continuous Development Unit at the Ministry of Agriculture.

Training course in cooperation with ICARDA for 13 trainees from agricultural colleges and agricultural specialists from nine countries in the Arabian Gulf

7- Participation in the summer training for third-level students specializing in community development in cooperation with the World Food Program – Project to support cooperatives in Upper Egypt – Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation
